Authentic Native American made beaded smudge feather. This feather is a large wild turkey feather measuring approximately 12” (not including the fringe). Handle is a peyote stitch with glass beads and smoked buckskin fringe.
Sage blessed with Lakota prayer. Handmade by a member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe.
This item comes with a Certificate of Authenticity in compliance with the Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990.

I have already reviewed this wonderful shop and their products for "beginners" and travelers. But this was my first purchase made with trepidation. I consider this Prayer Feather as a sacramental: a holy tool of faith and generosity. I did not know if I was "ready" for this step in my journey. The Prayer Feather is exquisite. Its' beauty and simplicity filled my heart. The beadwork and leather work are a lesson in sacredness. The Prayer Feather comes with a Certificate of Authenticity regarding the truth of the craft.
