There is so much pine where I'm living (a little north of Atlanta) that I thought I would try this. Considered gathering longleaf pine needles from a nearby state park, but I wanted to try your smudge stick. (Just lit it and it smells incredible. Not sure if I lit it from the correct end -- I lit the large end, the end that is facing down in the photo. But in any case, it's pretty wonderful. My 'smudge station' is above the kitchen sink -- realized that might be a good place, too, for materials that could be a bit more volatile.)

Smells so beautiful!!
